Preston Lodge High School Success at World Pipe Band Championships
The motion
That the Parliament notes the success of Preston Lodge High School Pipe Band at the recent World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow, where 190 pipe bands from across the globe competed; understands that the band’s performance in the Juvenile Section saw it named fifth best school pipe band in the world, also making it officially the best state school pipe band globally; congratulates the members of Preston Lodge School Pipe Band and their families, teachers and other supporters on this tremendous achievement, and wishes everyone involved in the band further success for the rest of the competition season.
