Silverburn Abseil Challenge in Aid of Cash for Kids
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates all those taking part in the Silverburn Abseil Challenge in aid of Cash for Kids on 7 September 2023; understands that 100 people will take the descent from a 160ft twin cage crane located at Glasgow’s Silverburn; acknowledges that participants are being asked to commit to raising at least £100 to secure a sought-after place at the abseil, with all funds going towards Clyde 1’s official charity partner, Cash for Kids; recognises that the charity supports disadvantaged children across Glasgow and west Scotland; notes that this is the latest fundraising activity facilitated through Silverburn Cares, the centre’s dedicated social and corporate responsibility programme, and wishes all those participating good luck.
