Wallace 700 Association
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Wallace 700 Association for the organisation of its successful Annual Wallace Ceremony in Aberdeen on 23 August 2023; notes that the Wallace 700 Association is a non-political charitable body, which exists to advance the education of the public about the life, memory and values of William Wallace and his relevance to the heritage, culture and history of Scotland; commends the Kintore and District Pipe Band, and the speakers and singers, who participated in the event, and thanks the Wallace 700 Association's stalwart secretary, John Mackay, for his service to the society since its inception.
