Bonnie Blantyre, Britain in Bloom Final

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Bonnie Blantyre for reaching the final of the Royal Horticultural Britain in Bloom competition; notes that Bonnie Blantyre welcomed Royal Horticultural Society judges to Blantyre in August 2023 as part of the competition process; highlights the outstanding work of all volunteers at Bonnie Blantyre for their tireless dedication and commitment to the area; recognises that Bonnie Blantyre is supported by the wider community with local residents, businesses, organisations and South Lanarkshire Council all working together to improve the town; pays tribute to the work of the South Lanarkshire Council grounds team, who reportedly went above and beyond in sprucing up Blantyre in advance of the competition, and wishes the entire Blantyre community the very best for the Britain in Bloom final.
