The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Allied Vehicles Charitable Trust for its £1,500 donation to Glasgow Street Aid; acknowledges that the group of volunteers provides assistance for assault injuries, medical emergencies, such as heart attacks and overdoses, and minor injuries; notes that the organisation is based in Union Street, and patrols the city centre, helping people in need of medical attention; further notes that the money will buy team radios for communication, medical kits, volunteer uniforms, medical consumables and diagnostic equipment, and understands that one of the first items that Glasgow Street Aid bought was a monitor to check and record patients’ vital signs in a form that is easily transferable to hospital equipment.
