Aberdeen Mela - One World Day
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the organisers of Aberdeen Mela for putting together a fabulous One World Day event at the Queen's Links on 27 August 2023; notes that the crowds enjoyed the food, music, dance, stalls and children's activities in what has become a major celebration of multiculturalism in the diverse city of Aberdeen; commends all of the performers and participants for their efforts, and looks forward to 2024's Mela.
