Congratulations to SoundSational on the Launch of New Album, Evolution

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the award-winning SoundSational Choir on the launch of its new album, Evolution; commends Musical and Managing Director, Tommy Chambers, the staff-volunteer team and all the SoundSational performers on their artistry, hard work, and dedication; recognises that the choir is part of the not-for-profit community arts organisation, SoundSational, which aims to put its belief in the power of music education to change lives and improve mental health and wellbeing into practice in extraordinary ways, and, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, raised £500,000 in support of local, national and international charities; notes that SoundSationals’ notable collaborations have included high-profile performances with Hugh Jackman on his tour, The Man. The Music. The Show., Amy McDonald and Michelle McManus; further notes that Evolution is available to download on major streaming platforms, and wishes the Lanarkshire-based musical choir every success ahead of its 10th annual concert on 10 October 2023 and the Michelle McManus’ Winter Wonderland on 10 December 2023, with both events being held at The Town House Hamilton.
