Congratulations to J & D Pierce (Contracts) Ltd

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates J & D Pierce (Contracts) Ltd as a winner in the 2023 Deals and Dealmakers awards ceremony for "Sale of the Year in partnership with Dow Schofield Watts"; notes that the 25th annual ceremony honouring Scotland's best and brightest was held at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Glasgow Central; acknowledges that Glengarnock-based J & D Pierce is Scotland’s foremost structural steelwork contractor and specialists in the design, fabrication, painting and erection of steelwork, having worked on many of the largest construction projects in the UK for more than 40 years; recognises that J & D Pierce has been involved in constructing such projects as Sainsbury’s megastore in Blackpool, Edinburgh West Retail Park, Benview School Campus in Glasgow, the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow City Campus, assisted with the transformation of the London Olympic Stadium to a football stadium, Silverstone Bridge, Glasgow Queen Street Station, the National Innovation Centre in Newcastle, Haymarket Station in Edinburgh, the new Asda store in Livingston, and many others, and wishes it continuing success in the months and years ahead.
