Doors Open Days Returns to Aberdeen

The motion

That the Parliament celebrates the upcoming Doors Open Days 2023 in Aberdeen City on 2-3 September 2023; notes that Doors Open Days takes place each September, and that the event is Scotland’s largest free festival, celebrating places and stories; understands that more than 40 ancient and modern venues will open their doors, including some usually closed to the public; recognises that the heritage festival has been running in Aberdeen for 17 years, and that the theme for the 2023 festival is Living Heritage, and encourages locals and tourists alike to participate and explore some of the unique buildings and sights on Aberdeen’s doorstep.
