ASDA Stenhousemuir Store Colleague Matthew Scales Mount Kilimanjaro to Fundraise for Dig Deep

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Matthew from ASDA’s Stenhousemuir store, onsuccessfully climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to raise funds for charity; understandsthat Matthew climbed Africa’s tallest peak to raise funds for Dig Deep, anorganisation that believes that every resident in Kenya should have access tothe provision of clean water, safe toilets and good hygiene; notes that Matthewraised an impressive £3,457, which, it understands, will be utilised by DigDeep in support of its work; recognises that, alongside Matthew, otherfundraising climbers have also raised money in support of Dig Deep, taking thecollective total raised to over £70,000; congratulates Matthew on hissuccessful climb of Mount Kilimanjaro, and wishes him all the best in thefuture.
