Lanarkshire Recovery Cup 2023

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Lanarkshire Recovery Community on what it sees as another successful Recovery Cup; understands that the football tournament brings together organisations, partners and community members, for a fun day, to raise awareness of the importance, it believes, of supporting, without stigma, those in recovery; further understands that North Lanarkshire Recovery Community, Street Soccer Scotland, Phoenix Futures, Forth Valley Recovery Community, Turning Point Scotland, North Lanarkshire Justice, The Beacons, Phoenix Fife, Breakthrough and the Cyrianians all played a critical role in bringing the event to fruition, with the funding being provided by Recovery Scotland, and thanks everyone who came to play or cheer, and all the organisations involved for what it sees as their ongoing dedication to improving the services and support available for those who are on their recovery journey from addiction.
