Reopening of Provan Hall

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Provan Hall Community Management Trust on the reopening of Provan Halls' doors to the public on 14 September 2023; recognises the historic significance of the Easterhouse building, which is one of the oldest in Glasgow, dating back to the 1460s; notes the hard work and challenges overcome by Provan Hall Community Management Trust to renovate and breathe new life into one of Glasgow’s oldest buildings; welcomes this historic landmark becoming a community facility that supports building knowledge, skills, access to arts, heritage and recreation in Easterhouse, and encourages those in the area to visit.
