Falkirk Named Best Place to Grow Old
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership, which provides services across the Falkirk district, on being named the "Best Place to Grow Old", following analysis of Care Inspectorate reports for The Sunday Times Care Home League Table; recognises that care home provision within the Falkirk district ranks highly in reports by the Care Inspectorate, scoring an average of 4.35 out of 6, higher than any other local authority area in Scotland; understands that this achievement is possible through collaboration between Scottish Care, NHS Forth Valley and Falkirk Council, to provide extended support to those who reside within care homes, and staff, who provide such essential services; congratulates once again the Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership on its success and recognition, and thanks the hardworking and dedicated staff, without whom this crucial support would not be possible.
