Winchburgh Community Growing Group and Winchburgh Wombles Awarded Silver Medal at Annual Beautiful Scotland Awards

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Winchburgh Community Growing Group and the Winchburgh Wombles on being awarded a Silver Medal winner certificate at the annual Beautiful Scotland Awards; notes that these were the first in-person awards held since 2019, and that they were held at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Edinburgh and hosted by the environmental charity Keep Scotland Beautiful; acknowledges that these awards and certificates are presented to groups whose efforts aim to improve, enhance and protect biodiversity and the places that they care for and work and live in; understands that the many volunteers who made this particular award possible put in a lot of hard work, and wishes the group continued success in its local community.
