Aberdeenshire Nursery Nurse has First Book Published by Pegasus

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Rachel Louisa May, a Nursery Practitioner at Chapelton Nursery, on the release of her debut children’s book, Aunty Planty and the Eco Warriors; understands that, in November 2021, Rachel penned the story for her sister, who faced health challenges during the COVID-19 restrictions; notes that the book features illustrations by a talented local Stonehaven artist; understands that Rachel initially intended to self-publish the book, but was presented with a traditional publishing contract by Pegasus, and wishes Rachel all the best with her career going forward.
