St John’s Hospital Employee, Nicola Walker, Wins Prestigious Award at Annual NHS Lothian Celebrating Success Awards 2023

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Nicola Walker, a technical administrator working in medical physics at St John's Hospital, on winning a prestigious NHS award for her outstanding work in quality and innovation; acknowledges that this award was presented to her at the annual NHS Lothian Celebrating Success Awards 2023, and that she was nominated by staff working across the healthcare system; recognises the significant service improvements she has made, it understands, by transforming the process for managing and monitoring medical equipment contracts, and ensuring that all medical equipment is correctly maintained and safe for patients, and congratulates her once again on this achievement.
