Clydebank Women’s Aid Receives £3,500 Donation from Bernie's Mountblow Bar Dalmuir

The motion

That the Parliament applauds the efforts of Bernie’s Mountblow Bar, Dalmuir, which raised £3,500 for Clydebank Women’s Aid (CWA); notes that the money was raised over three months through karaoke nights and a "Stars in Their Eyes" event held at the pub; understands that a charity night with prizes and raffles further boosted the funds; appreciates that the money will go towards remodelling part of the drop-in centre at CWA to ensure that it is welcoming and child-friendly, and wishes everyone at the bar every success for future fundraising activities.
