Made4U in ML2's Successful Summer Programme
The motion
That the Parliament commends the outstanding commitment of Made4U in ML2 to the community of Cambusnethan and surrounding villages; understands that over 300 children and adults participated in its summer programme, which included various events; further understands that the charity has been active for 18 years having been founded through a number of local churches in 2006; believes that the charity has seen an increase in footfall over the years and even more so during the current climate, due to the cost of living crisis; notes that the charity aims to make a difference by trying to reduce poverty, tackling loneliness and enhancing the health and wellbeing of the people of Wishaw; thanks the volunteers, staff and the community for their dedication and commitment to helping those in the community, and wishes them well for the future.
