Orchard Primary Receives Asda Foundation Funding

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Orchard Primary in Overtown on receiving a grant worth £800 from the Asda Foundation; understands that Orchard Primary will use the funds for the school's new community learning initiative, Lunch with a Community Bunch; further understands that the pupils and staff will be working in partnership with Overtown Parish Church to host a monthly event where the community will come together to enjoy a light afternoon tea; thanks the pupils, staff, community and parishioners for their hard work and dedication in securing this funding, and further thanks the Asda Foundation for its contributions to the community of Wishaw and surrounding villages.
