Kyle Skating Wins Magnum Open 2023

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Ayrshire’s Kyle Skating Club on winning the Magnum Open 2023, which is a national figure skating competition held by Magnum Figure Skating Club; notes that the competition took place at Auchenharvie ice rink from 4 to 7 August 2023, hosted more than 250 skaters from across the UK and had an international panel of judges; understands that the event was the first of its kind since 2018; believes that each event was awarded points for each placing skater, from first to fifth place; commends the hard work of the club, and applauds the volunteers, skaters and all involved for a successful event.
