Arrochar and Tarbet Senior Citizens Welfare Group Receives Funding from SSE Renewables

The motion

That the Parliament commends SSE Renewables for awarding Arrochar and Tarbet Senior Citizens Welfare group funding of £3,000, which, it understands, was part of a fee paid for filming at the nearby Sloy Hydro Power Station; notes that the organisation aims to give pensioners a number of social outings each year, such as afternoon teas, summer outings, and shows and dinners; understands that the group has been established for over three decades; recognises that this funding has come at what it sees as an important time for the group, and wishes the organisation every success for the years ahead.
