The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Venture Scotland on being one of the Glasgow charities that has been awarded a grant of £9,743 from the high street supermarket Morrisons Foundation; understands that the money will go towards equipment that helps people aged from 16 to 30 to improve their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing; further understands that the "Journey" programme uses challenging outdoor activities to help young people to leave behind the pressures of their lives, connect with themselves, their fellow programme participants, and takes place in the unique beauty of Scotland's wild spaces, and acknowledges that the other charities that have benefited from donations were Tollcross YMCA, the Scottish Pantry Network, Clyde FC Community Foundation and the Catherine McEwan Foundation, which received £21,000 to help with the treatment and research for children with active Crohn’s disease.
