University of Glasgow Named Scottish University of the Year

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the University of Glasgow on being named the Scottish University of the Year by The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2024; notes that the guide includes profiles on some 134 universities across the UK, and that the University of Glasgow placed 12th in the UK, matching its ranking in the 2022 guide; recognises that this is the second time that the university has been named Scottish University of the Year in three years, and commends the staff, students and wider university community for their hard work and contribution to this accolade.
