MorphFit Gentle Movement Project LTD Wins Lanarkshire Business Excellence Awards 2023

That the Parliament congratulates MorphFit Gentle Movement Project Ltd, based in Hamilton, on winning the Lanarkshire Business Excellence Award for Social Impact; understands that the founder of the organisation, Kenneth, alongside the rest of his team, goes above and beyond each year to help communities and improve their mental and physical wellbeing by delivering inclusive and accessible exercise plans in fun and welcoming environments; notes that these weekly classes are tailored to those taking part, and are provided both on-site and online, to ensure that there is an option for everyone; understands that this local organisation has been recognised for its innovation and care in the past, by securing the VASLAN Third Sector Award for Enterprise and Innovation in 2021, as well as having a number of nominations for similar awards in recent years; commends the organisers for the positive change that it considers they have made to the lives of those affected by various health conditions, as well as the ageing population by creating an environment recognised by its members to be welcoming and understanding of their circumstances; understands that the Lanarkshire Business Awards is one of the longest established business awards of the Lanarkshire community, and, therefore, that this is another prestigious recognition to add to the impressive portfolio, and wishes MorphFit Gentle Movement Project every success going forwards.
