East Kilbride Fundraisers Abseiling the Forth Road Bridge

The motion

That the Parliament commends the East Kilbride team, comprising John Black, Phil Mycek, Colin McCready, Connor McBride, and Roz Malcolm, who, it understands, have pledged to abseil the Forth Road Bridge in October 2023 to raise funds for Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland, in memory of their former colleague Neil Donnan; understands that Neil passed away earlier in 2023, aged 42, after experiencing a heart attack and brain aneurysm; notes that Neil’s former colleagues wish to honour him by undertaking this considerable challenge; celebrates their bravery and dedication to raising funds for a valuable cause, and wishes them the best of luck in their endeavours.
