The Archie Foundation Fundraising Efforts
The motion
That the Parliament commends all of those involved with the recent go-kart event at Deeside Activity Park, which raised £10,560 for local children's charity, The Archie Foundation, on 3 September 2023; understands that north-east construction group, Robertson Construction Eastern, helped fund the event and that 14 teams of construction workers took part; notes that The Archie Foundation was started in 2000 to support the building of the Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital, and understands that it has now gone on to have a long and exceptional relationship with different NHS boards all over Scotland; commends all of those who took part in the event, and wishes The Archie Foundation all the success and longevity that it believes it so clearly deserves.
