The motion

That the Parliament acknowledges World Animal Day on 4 October 2023; celebrates what it sees as the valuable contribution that animals make to everyone's lives; believes that it is of vital importance to unite to raise the status of animals and improve animal welfare standards; thanks Naturewatch Foundation, and all of the World Animal Day ambassadors, for their work to make the day a success, and wishes everyone a happy World Animal Day.
