Huge Success for North Lanarkshire Council’s Summer Work Placement Programme

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates North Lanarkshire Council on its successful Summer Work Placement programme; notes that this six-week programme welcomed 23 students from local high schools, priority groups and New College Lanarkshire, to help prepare young people for the workforce; further notes that the students were matched into work placements across different council and health and social care services, and congratulates the group of young people on being recognised at a special awards ceremony in Motherwell in September 2023.
