North Lanarkshire Businesses Receive Gold Employment Awards

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates two North Lanarkshire employers on receiving gold employment status; notes that DMI Fire and Security, Chapelhall, and Allstar Joinery, Cumbernauld, have both achieved gold accreditation status under North Lanarkshire Council’s employer charter, and understands that both companies achieved this recognition by paying all staff the real Living Wage, employing local residents, using local businesses in their supply chains and ensuring that fair work practices are in place.
