Livingston Athletic Club Medal Success at Scottish Disability Sports Senior Track and Field Championships

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates four para-athletes from Livingston Athletic Club on their stunning medal haul at the Scottish Disability Sports Senior Track and Field Championships, which was held recently at Grangemouth Stadium; understands that the quartet of Cameron Tweedie, Matthew Power, Finlay Menzies and Kaydan Day combined to win seven gold medals, along with two silvers and a bronze; recognises that Cameron Tweedie won silver in the 1500m and bronze in the 800m, frame runner Finlay won three gold medals in the T72 category 100m, 200m and 400m races, T20 athlete Matthew won gold in both the 100m and 200m races and silver in the long jump, with Kaydan winning gold in the men’s 800m and 1500m races, and wishes Livingston Athletic Club and the team continued success.
