Walker Timber Ltd Donates to Bloomin’ Bo’ness

The motion

That the Parliament recognises the generosity of Walker Timber Ltd, which donated £1,000 to Bloomin’ Bo’ness to support its creative seasonal planting endeavours throughout the town; understands that Bloomin’ Bo’ness exerts much effort and creativity into planting and maintaining the flower beds and planters throughout the area, with displays including whisky barrel planters, wheelbarrows, hanging baskets, along with bird feeders and a bug hotel; notes that Bloomin’ Bo’ness, which is a volunteer-led organisation, will utilise this generous donation to purchase much-needed tools and equipment for its team; recognises that the generosity shown by Walker Timber Ltd within the community of Bo’ness has seen it provide additional funding to local Bo’ness charities and community organisations, such as the Children’s Theatre Bo’ness, Bo’ness Car 4U and Bo’ness Community Accordion Band; congratulates Bloomin’ Bo’ness on its fantastic planting endeavours, and gives thanks to Walker Timber Ltd for its strong support of community endeavours, and wishes them both the best for the future.
