Elizabeth Blades Dedicates 47 Years to Girls’ Brigade

The motion

That the Parliament recognises Elizabeth Blades on her 47 years of service to the Girls’ Brigade; commends Elizabeth on helping young girls enrich their lives and achieve their goals during her 47-year career as Captain of the 5th Motherwell Company of the Girls’ Brigade; understands that, over the years, Elizabeth helped countless numbers of young people from Motherwell and Wishaw and is seen as an important and inspirational figure to many; thanks Elizabeth for her service, and wishes her all the best for the future.
