Newmains Cadets Volunteer Recognised for Outstanding Commitment

The motion

That the Parliament recognises Sergeant Kimberley Dougal of 3 Platoon (RSB), Newmains, on her dedication and selflessness to her local cadet group, as documented by the Cadet Adult Recognition Awards; commends Kimberley on giving her time and skills to help young people aged 12 to 18 to develop new skills and make new friendships in her role as a Cadet Force Adult Volunteer (CFAV); understands that Kimberley joined the cadets aged 12, and wanted to be part of the leadership of a local group in her adulthood; understands that, while CFAVs provide fun, challenge and adventure, they also help the cadets to bolster their CVs and prepare them for life after cadets and school; congratulates Kimberley on her achievement, and wishes all involved at 3 Platoon (RSB), Newmains, all the best for the future.
