Glasgow Teenager Wins Volunteer Football Coaching Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Niomi McConnell on winning the SFA Glasgow volunteer coach of the year; understands that Niomi set up a football academy in the east end of Glasgow when she was only 16 and now coaches 30 children every week; recognises that she holds training sessions at Easterhouse Football Academy at the Stepford Fare Scotland grounds in Edinburgh Road for under-12 girls, and acknowledges that Niomi not only works, but is attending college, and plays football for Athena Glasgow as well as volunteering.
