David Kyle Runs Glasgow to Edinburgh Ultramarathon

The motion

That the Parliament recognises David Kyle, a Motherwell resident, on his commitment to run 56 miles in the Glasgow to Edinburgh ultramarathon on 7 October 2023, raising funds for the Armed Forces charity, Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSFA); understands that David’s late father was part of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, and that his brother was a lance corporal in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers; further understands that David was keen to give back to a charity, which helped him through a hard period in his life following his father's death, and that he has already broken his fundraising target of £1,000, and wishes David all the best in his ultramarathon.
