Lanarkshire’s Paul Clark on Stage with Country Legend Shania Twain

The motion

That the Parliament recognises former New College Lanarkshire student, Paul Clark, on joining country music legend, Shania Twain, on her Queen of Me Tour as a backing singer; understands that Shania Twain invited Paul to audition to join her as a backing singer after seeing his cover of her hit song Waking Up Dreaming, after meeting him on the set of Starstruck, a talent show which airs on ITV; further understands that Paul appeared on Starstruck having graduated from New College Lanarkshire’s music programme, and is now travelling the world performing in sold-out arenas as part of the Queen of Me Tour, Shania Twain’s fifth and current headlining tour; congratulates Paul on his achievements, and wishes him the best for the future.
