The motion
That the Parliament recognises that 26 September 2023 is the 10th International Day for the total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons; notes what it sees as the opportunity to endorse a Declaration of Public Conscience, Nuclear Taboo: From Norm to Law, and calls for all governments to promote common security and nuclear disarmament at the UN high-level meeting on the total elimination of nuclear weapons, and to endorse the Protect People and the Planet Appeal for a nuclear-weapon-free world.
