Asian Catering Federation 7th Asian Restaurant Awards

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Asian Catering Federation on the successful 7th Asian Restaurant Awards Scotland; understands that the awards ceremony was held on 18 September 2023 at the Sheraton Grand Hotel and Spa in Edinburgh; recognises that the Asian Catering Federation was founded by Mr Yawar Khan in 2011 to bring together various Asian catering and restaurant associations across the UK to collaborate and engage to support one another and provide advice for the needs of restaurateurs serving Asian cuisine; believes that the event was a great opportunity for catering businesses and restaurants to come together and celebrate after what it sees as a difficult three years for the industry; extends congratulations to all the nominees and award winners on the night, and wishes the Asian Catering Federation and all participants well in any future endeavours.
