North Lanarkshire Provost’s Special Achievement Award for Nan Frame

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the family and colleagues of Nan Frame on her posthumously receiving a Special Achievement Award from North Lanarkshire’s Provost; notes that Nan, a well-respected and cherished figure in the local community of Bargeddie, is deeply missed and that she dedicated much of her life to helping young people in the local community through her work at the Safety Zone; recognises the tireless work that Nan carried out for many years, especially most recently during the COVID-19 pandemic by helping to ensure that nobody in the local area was isolated or without food; acknowledges the work that her colleagues at the Safety Zone are undertaking to ensure her legacy continues through their hard work with young people in the area.
