Zetland Park Project Nets COSLA Excellence Award as Best Team in Scotland

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates all those involved with the regeneration of Zetland Park in Grangemouth, on being named "Best Team in Scotland" at the COSLA Excellence Awards 2023, which was held on 28 September 2023 at Crieff Hydro, Perthshire; understands that the project has now won a host of awards since its inception and believes that it is an excellent example of community-driven, local authority-enabled regeneration; further understands that the Zetland Park Project continues to grow and be a source of pride to the Portonian community, providing facilities and a wide variety of opportunities for local enjoyment on an intergenerational basis; notes that the Zetland Regeneration Project was a collaborative effort between an alliance of partners, including Falkirk Council and community groups; congratulates all those involved within the community directly and at Falkirk Council for receiving COSLA’s Best Team in Scotland award, and wishes them every success in the future.
