Community Action Newarthill Receives North Lanarkshire Council Provost's Excellence Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Community Action Newarthill on receiving North Lanarkshire Council Provost's Award for Excellence 2023; notes that the winner of this prestigious award is determined by nominations from the local community; understands that Community Action Newarthill is a local community group that aims to be accessible and affordable for everyone through running a number of drop-ins and summer sessions providing activities and free refreshments for the community; further understands that the group works closely with local charities, supporting their work within the community; thanks everyone at Community Action Newarthill for their dedication, and wishes the group the best of luck in its future endeavours.
