Nan McIntosh Receives North Lanarkshire Council Provost's Community Volunteer Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Nan McIntosh on receiving the North Lanarkshire Council Provost’s Community Volunteer Award 2023; understands that Nan, as the secretary of Newarthill Community Council for many years, has driven change and worked to improve the local area; further understands that Nan and the community council have been responsible for co-ordinating flower planting around the village and working to resolve local issues with the relevant councillors as well as ensuring the funding is in place for the community council to carry on making a difference in Newarthill; thanks Nan and the community council for their efforts, and wishes Nan the very best in her future endeavours.
