The motion

That the Parliament recognises the fantastic work of the Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) clinic at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow; understands that JIA is the most common type of chronic and long-lasting arthritis in children, affecting approximately 925 children in Scotland; recognises the significant impact that the JIA clinic has in supporting children and young people with the condition; further recognises the important work that Versus Arthritis does to support young people living with arthritis, including with JIA, through their Young People and Families Service, and their Take Control workshops, and thanks both the clinic and Versus Arthritis for the work that they do for young people with arthritis in Glasgow and beyond.
