Allander Rotary Club Raises £5,000 for Worthy Causes

The motion

That the Parliament applauds the efforts of the Allander Rotary Club, which raised £5,000 for deserving causes; notes that the club has now distributed some of the funds to local organisations and charities, including CHAS, East Dunbartonshire’s Women’s Aid, Carers Link, Butterfly Trust, Shelter Box, Kidney Kids and others; recognises that the funds were raised through the Annual Duck Race and other charitable events, and wishes the team luck as it continues to raise money for Bearsden and Milngavie communities.
