Donation Gives Boost to Stenhousemuir Alzheimer Group

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Maples Day Care Centre, based in Stenhousemuir, on the generous cash donation that it received from a local undertaker to facilitate much needed improvements; recognises that the Maples group, run by Alzheimer Scotland, needed to insulate its workshop to ensure that any vulnerable community members would be safe attending events during the winter months; understands that the local undertaker, Paul O’Connor, offered to pay for the necessary works to ensure that the Maples group could continue its essential provision; congratulates the Maples group, based in Stenhousemuir, on securing the funds required to carry out this essential work; thanks Paul for his generosity in providing the needed funds, and wishes all involved the best for the future.
