AberNecessities Raises Over £56,000 at Birthday Ball

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Aberdeen-based charity, AberNecessities, on raising over £56,000 at its birthday ball; notes that the theme of the ball, Catch a Falling Star, was inspired by the reported statistic that 33% of children living in poverty fall behind in their education; understands that the funding raised from the auction and raffle prizes will go towards providing essential support to local families struggling with extreme financial hardship; applauds AberNecessities for its recent fundraising success, and wishes it all the best.
