Grangemouth Rotary Club Holds Fashion Show to Fundraise for Strathcarron Hospice

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Grangemouth Rotary Club on its fundraising efforts in aid of Strathcarron Hospice; understands that Grangemouth Rotary Club held a fashion show in the Leapark Hotel on 1 October 2023, with the aim of promoting the clothes that are donated and available on sale within the hospice’s charity shops across the Forth Valley area; recognises that the volunteers within the stores had been looking for suitable donated garments for the fashion show, which were then modelled on the day and available for the audience to purchase; notes that, alongside the fashion show and hospitality, guests were kept entertained by the Young Portonian Theatre Group of Grangemouth; congratulates the Grangemouth Rotary Club on its successful fundraising efforts for Strathcarron Hospice, and wishes it the best of luck with all future fundraising events.
