The motion

That the Parliament congratulates all the staff at Cunningham House in Grangemouth on receiving a fantastic report regarding their service from the Care Inspectorate; understands that Cunningham House began the process in November 2022 of sensitively transitioning its facility from a home for the elderly, to a rehabilitation centre for those who required a homely setting before returning to the community; further understands that the purpose of this was to reduce the numbers of people staying in hospital when they do not require clinical care, while still providing them with the support that they need to return to their own homes; recognises that Cunningham House, while offering a permanent home to some current residents, also offers reablement and rehabilitation services via a multidisciplinary team to others; believes that the positive report for Cunningham House is a testament to the hard work and dedication of all staff within the facility; congratulates all staff at Cunningham House on their fantastic work, and wishes them all the very best for the future.
