Bruach Architects Fundraise with Daring Commitment
The motion
That the Parliament recognises Bruach Architects in Clydebank for its fundraising efforts; understands that the architecture firm held a coffee morning on 28 September 2023 for MacMillan Cancer Support at its offices in Clydebank and raised £465; further understands that company directors, Colin Hastie and Louise Ewing, along with architectural assistant, Sarah Dempsey, bravely ziplined along the River Clyde for 1,000ft in order to raise money for Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland (SBH Scotland); congratulates the trio on facing their fears with the support of their colleague, senior architect, Laura Paton, raising £695; commends local businesses for making efforts for staff to be able to raise funds for important charities, and thanks all who donated to such worthy causes.
