Cornerstone Accredited Menopause Friendly Employer

That the Parliament welcomes the certification of Glasgow-based accountancy firm, Cornerstone, as an accredited Menopause Friendly Employer; understands that the accreditation follows Cornerstone investing in its Menopause Awareness Project to understand the impact of menopause on female employees; further understands that the project was made possible through funding from the Workplace Equality Fund; notes that the Workplace Equality Fund is administered by Advice Direct Scotland to provide funding for projects that aim to make workplaces in Scotland more accessible to previously excluded groups, including older people and those with disabilities; further notes that the projects in receipt of funds are a part of the Fair Work Framework, which sets out what fair work means in Scotland, offering all individuals an effective voice, opportunity, security, fulfilment, and respect; understands that the project with Cornerstone was one of 12 projects to have successfully received funding, with up to £75,000 available in each year of the fund to carry out activities that will help with inclusivity, from a total of £800,000 available to all projects for the first year of the two-year equality fund, and welcomes the commitment by Cornerstone towards making Scottish workplaces more inclusive and diverse.
